My lover is always joking to his friends that “Livia is just a bit of fluff”. So when we arranged a secret lunchtime rendezvous at my apartment in the city, I dressed in this playful little outfit for him. I knew it would make him smile.
When the doorbell rang an hour earlier than expected, I assumed he had managed to sneak away early from work. To my surprise, it wasn’t him. Instead, there were three workmen standing on my doorstep. An electrician, a plumber, and a builder, sent by my landlord. He had forgotten to mention that work was scheduled for that day! They stood on the doorstep, with their tools in their hands and their jaws on the floor.
I decided that there was nothing else to do but put on a show for them instead. Perching on the stairs with my feather boa draped across my breasts, I let it trail down one step at a time as I leaned forward and smiled at them. I playfully ran the soft feathers across my arm, twirling the boa around my fingers as I crossed and uncrossed my legs, making sure they were watching. They stood there transfixed, their wide eyes roaming across my body.
Then I slowly rose and sashayed up a few steps, pausing to glance over my shoulder. I let the boa dangle teasingly, swaying it back and forth before brushing it lightly along the banister as I climbed higher. Their eyes followed every movement. I could hear a muffled whistle before I invited them upstairs with a casual wave of my hand.
I couldn’t say if any of the jobs they came for actually got done. But it doesn’t matter. As they left, they all told me that they would be back again the next day!
